Encounters

"To look at things which otherwise would seem mundane with fresh eyes
is to realise the beauty of all things you may encounter in life"

Dear Subscriber

Encounters Shop Open

We opened the doors to the latest Encounters Shop in June and since then we have become the talk of the town and the local neighbourhood. Would-be shoppers have regularly popped into the shop to explore a fascinating exhibition; Sharrow/Venice/Sharrow which combines photographic documentary material collected from various Encounters projects undertaken in Sharrow from 2002-2004 with the imagination of visitors to the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2006. The result is an intriguing international dialogue melding real people, places and objects into surreal photo collages and surprisingly 3-d models.

The Encounters Shop at 16 Wostenholm Road, Sheffield S7 1LJ  is open throughout the summer holidays and until the end of September every Tuesday and Thursday from 1-7pm.
All customers are very welcome!
